Lens Enhancements |
Lens Materials |
A GLARE-FREE COATING reduces reflections on a lens, which increases the amount of light going through the lens, improving the quality of vision. It also makes the lenses appear to be almost invisible. While everyone can benefit from a glare-free coating, it is especially helpful for people with high prescriptions, those who suffer from glare, especially at night, and people who want the clearest vision. This lens treatment will also give the best cosmetic appearance. POLARIZED LENSES are used to make sun-glasses. They are better than standard sunglass lenses because they block light coming from reflected surfaces, including water, ice, and windshields. Polarized lenses are scratch resistant and UV protective. PHOTOSENSITIVE LENSES become dark when exposed to sunlight, and lighten indoors. This happens automatically, and takes less than one minute. These lenses are excellent for someone who wants the convenience of sunglasses without having multiple pairs of glasses. Unfortunately, these lenses do not darken much in cars. |
.
